Forest Kids Camp
at the Northern Lights Bluegrass Festival
Ness Creek Site
August 12–14, 2025
Ages: 3 to 12 years
Let your kids dive into days of wonder and discovery while you enjoy the festival! Running alongside the music workshops, our Forest Kids Camp invites children to explore, play, and build meaningful connections with the natural world.
Guided by two skilled Wild Sky instructors, kids will wander the boreal forest with woodcraft tools, nets for pond dipping, and hammocks for cloud gazing. They'll look for insects, build fairy houses and forts, and simply enjoy time amongst the trees.
When and Where
Ness Creek Site
August 12–14, 2025
Located 2.5 hours north of Saskatoon, on the wild side of Prince Albert National Park near Big River, SK, Ness Creek’s winding trails through aspens, spruce, and pine — plus meadows and watersheds — make it the perfect classroom.
This is also a special place in our story: it’s where Wild Sky Adventure Learning first took root with a dream to bring children together on the land & under the sky.
What to Bring
Sturdy shoes, a water bottle in a backpack, and a sun hat for shade. Snacks are provided as part of the festival meal plan.
Cost
$225 per child for the three-day camp.
Meal plans can be purchased directly through the Northern Lights Bluegrass Festival website.
