Wild Sky Preschool
Inspired by Forest School principles.
Small groups (max 8 kids, ratio 1:4).
Runs Sept-June, Tues-Wed-Thurs 9am–12pm at Victoria Park & The Space on H.
Children explore woodlands, parks, and natural spaces along the South Saskatchewan River, learning through curiosity and discovery across art, science, math, stories, physical play and more.
Nature-based early learning for ages 3-6 in Saskatoon.
Learning in All Seasons
At Wild Sky, we believe in learning from the land all year long.
Children build resilience and joy outdoors through every season, from snowy forts to spring puddles.
On very cold days (below -27°C wind chill) or during Environment Canada weather warnings, we move indoors to The Space on H community centre.
When it’s chilly (between -20°C to -26°C), we dress warmly, use our hot tent to warm up, and keep active to stay comfortable.
Staff closely monitor weather & wind chill throughout the day, always putting safety first.
We help families prepare with gear lists, positive reframing tips for winter, and ideas for fueling little bodies with hearty breakfasts.
Parents always have the final say if a day feels too harsh for your child. We support your judgment.

Our Location
Our program is mostly outdoors, but we use sheltered spaces for drop-offs, pick-ups, snacks, warming up, or when weather turns challenging.
At Victoria Park, we’re based out of the new Riversdale Community Centre “The Space on H”, just steps from the park and river. It’s easily reached by bus, bike, or a short walk from downtown. The Space on H, run by the Saskatoon Riversdale Community Collective, is a vibrant non-profit hub.
